The ingredients needed to make Onion kheer:
  1. Take big onions
  2. Prepare full fat milk
  3. Get ghee
  4. Make ready Khoya (optional)
  5. Get Sugar
  6. Make ready Cardamon powder
  7. Prepare Chopped dry fruits (cashew, almond)
  8. Take Rose water
Instructions to make Onion kheer:
  1. Chopped onion properly and boli it on a pan on high flame for 10 min. Than slow down the gas and keep same in boling for more 5 min. Turn off the gas.
  2. Drain all water from onion and clean that onion in normal water. Again put water on it and keep for boling more 15 min, till the onion smell will remove.
  3. Simultaneously boli milk upto half of the amount till it shows it's thickness.
  4. Take 1 fry pan, put 2 table spoon of ghee fry chopped dry fruits and than fry boiled onion till it's colour change it slight brown.
  5. Than put that fry onion on milk add sugar, cardamon powder and rose water. Cook all for 15 min. Than turn off the gas and keep aside for normal temprature.
  6. Serve it chill.
